En bref, les intérêts de recherche du Pr Hufbauer (http://bspm.agsci.colostate.edu/people-button/faculty-new/ruth-hufbauer/) :""We focus on ecological and population genetics of biological invasions, plant-insect and insect-enemy interactions, to address both applied issues in management of invasive species, and theoretical questions in ecology and evolutionary biology. As all invaders start in small populations, much of our research also applies to conversation of species at risk. Currently, I am using Tribolium beetles as a model system to conduct experimental invasions, and study rescue processes. We also are studying invasions of common mullein, and cheatgrass, and biological control of tansy ragwort and tamarisk.
